In late August, the annual Leucadia Art Walk showcases talented local artists and musicians at venues along Highway 101. Highlights of the Art Walk include live mural painting, a children’s art pavilion, six venues hosting live music, and a craft beer garden. Taste of Leucadia in early April is another popular event centered on Highway 101. Dozens of business along the 101 participate in this event with live music, Sip Stops for local beer and wine tasting, and food tastings at close to 30 local restaurants. Leucadia Farmers’ Market takes place every Sunday at Paul Ecke Elementary School. Along with fresh produce, the 75 vendors that comprise the market offer a variety of gourmet foodstuffs, plants and flowers, and handicrafts from local artisans.
